The Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Management Agency (BP BUMN), Dony Oskaria, has appointed M. Iskandar Kunaefi as the President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). The appointment was formalized through a shareholders’ resolution that took effect last week.

Under the same resolution, BP BUMN, acting as the holder of the Series A Dwiwarna shares, also appointed Rosmanidar Zulkifli as Director of Risk Management at Pos Indonesia.

“The term of office of the newly appointed members of the Board of Directors shall be effective until the closing of the fifth Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) following the issuance of this resolution,” the resolution stated, as cited on Monday (July 20, 2026).

With Iskandar’s appointment as the definitive President Director, the tenure of Daud Joseph as Acting President Director (Plt) has officially ended. BP BUMN also honorably discharged Daud Joseph from the position.

The reshuffle also affected other members of the board. Rosmanidar Zulkifli replaced Fathul Anwar as Director of Risk Management. Following the change in the organizational structure, Fathul will continue serving as Finance Director.

Iskandar is no stranger to the corporate world. According to data compiled by IDNFinancials.com, he previously served as Operations Director of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB), the company that manages Persib Bandung Football Club, before stepping down from the role at the end of 2024.

Earlier in his career, Iskandar held several strategic positions at PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo (Jakpro), a company owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government. His roles included serving as a member of the Investment Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Beyond his corporate career, Iskandar is the son of the late Major General TNI Aang Kunaefi, who served as Governor of West Java from 1970 to 1975. Nevertheless, his professional career has been built on his own experience in investment, management, business transformation, and organizational development.

Iskandar’s appointment is expected to strengthen Pos Indonesia’s leadership as the company continues its business transformation and expands its services to meet future challenges.
