Jakarta – Pelita Air has officially appointed Faik Fahmi as its new President Director, replacing Dendy Kurniawan following a shareholders’ meeting (RUPS) as part of the company’s management restructuring.
Prior to joining Pelita Air, Faik Fahmi served as President Director of InJourney Airports. He also previously led PT Angkasa Pura I and PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), building extensive experience in Indonesia’s transportation and aviation sectors.
During his tenure at InJourney Airports, Faik oversaw the management of the airport network formed through the integration of PT Angkasa Pura I and PT Angkasa Pura II. The company operates dozens of airports across Indonesia and has implemented various operational transformation and service improvement programs.
The leadership transition is expected to support Pelita Air’s continued business development. As of now, the company has not announced in detail the strategic priorities that Faik Fahmi will pursue in his new role as President Director.
