Jakarta – The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) has officially appointed eight new executives as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at strengthening governance and leadership succession. The inauguration ceremony was led by LPS Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Anggito Abimanyu, at the institution’s headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday (July 21).
The appointments include three Executive Directors (equivalent to echelon I officials) and five Group Directors (equivalent to echelon II officials). According to LPS, the reshuffle is part of its commitment to implementing an independent merit-based system while enhancing the institution’s organizational capacity.
The three newly appointed Executive Directors are:
- Hafidz Ashady – Executive Director of Finance and Investment.
- R. Rizka S. Kurniawan – Executive Director of Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Research.
- Ridwan Nasution – Executive Director of Bank Surveillance, Examination, and Regulation.
Meanwhile, the five Group Directors appointed are:
- Tri Wahyuni – Head of the Internal Audit Unit (transferred).
- Sofyan Baehaqie – Group Director of Bank Resolution and Investor Relations (transferred).
- Johan Krisnamurti – Group Director of Bank Claims Handling (promoted).
- Heady Anggoro Mukti – Acting Group Director of Deposit Insurance and Bank Resolution Policy (promoted).
- Arsandi Akhmad – Acting Group Director of Information Technology Development and Operations (promoted).
LPS Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Farid Azhar Nasution, said the promotions and transfers reflect the institution’s commitment to developing human capital while recognizing competence, integrity, and performance.
“We believe that a strong organization is built by its best people who are given opportunities to grow. Therefore, every promotion and transfer within LPS is carried out based on the principles of an independent merit system,” Farid said.
LPS expects the leadership reshuffle to strengthen talent development, ensure the availability of professional and high-integrity leaders, and enhance the institution’s readiness to fulfill its mandate of safeguarding financial system stability, protecting bank depositors, and preparing for the implementation of Indonesia’s insurance policy guarantee program.
