Telkom Indonesia (TLKM) Reports Rp10.6 Trillion Net Profit in H1 2026

Jakarta – State-owned telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) recorded a net profit of Rp10.6 trillion in the first half of 2026. The figure increased 1.4% compared with the same period last year.

Despite the increase in net profit, Telkom’s net profit margin stood at 14%, down 35 basis points year-on-year. Meanwhile, normalized net profit reached Rp11.3 trillion, representing annual growth of 6.2%.

Citing its financial report submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Telkom management said the performance growth was mainly driven by the monetization of its mobile business and the implementation of cost discipline.

Telkom’s consolidated revenue in the first half of 2026 increased 3.8% year-on-year to Rp75.9 trillion. In line with the revenue growth, the company recorded EBITDA of Rp37.5 trillion, up 3.8% year-on-year, with an EBITDA margin of 49.4%.

Second-Quarter Revenue Grows

On a quarterly basis, Telkom also recorded revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026.

The company’s revenue reached Rp28.02 trillion, an increase of 1.6% from Rp27.58 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. The figure was also higher than the Rp26.616 trillion recorded in the second quarter of 2025.

However, the revenue growth was not accompanied by an increase in quarterly EBITDA. EBITDA in the second quarter of 2026 stood at Rp12.95 trillion, down 1.3% from Rp13.12 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.

In terms of net profit, Telkom posted Rp5.27 trillion in the second quarter of 2026. The figure increased approximately 3.7% from Rp5.09 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.

Compared with the Rp4.224 trillion recorded in the second quarter of 2025, net profit in the second quarter of 2026 jumped approximately 24.9%.

Telkomsel Mobile Customers Decline

In the mobile segment, Telkomsel’s customer base stood at 153.5 million in the second quarter of 2026.

The figure declined slightly by 0.1% from 153.7 million customers in the first quarter of 2026. Compared with the second quarter of 2025, the number of mobile customers fell from 158.4 million to 153.5 million, a decline of approximately 3.1%.

Meanwhile, payload in the second quarter of 2026 declined by approximately 0.7% from 5,798 PB in the second quarter of 2025.

The payload trend remained volatile. In the second quarter of 2025, payload stood at 5,798 PB before declining to 5,622 PB in the third quarter of 2025.

The figure then rose to 5,832 PB in the fourth quarter of 2025, before declining to 5,770 PB in the first quarter of 2026 and 5,758 PB in the second quarter of 2026.

Telkom’s Targets for the Second Half of 2026

Entering the second half of 2026, Telkom has set several targets to achieve its annual performance guidance.

The company is targeting normalized revenue growth in the range of 1%-3%. Telkom also aims to increase its normalized EBITDA margin to above 50%.

In addition, the company is targeting a C2R ratio in the range of 17%-19%.
