
JAKARTA — PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), or KAI, has expanded its Board of Commissioners by appointing Ristadi as a company commissioner. The appointment took effect on October 1, 2026.
Ristadi’s appointment was approved by KAI’s shareholder, Danantara Asset Management (DAM), through shareholder resolutions numbered 410 of 2026 and SK.141/DI-DAM/DU/2026.
Ristadi is a familiar figure in labor affairs. He currently serves as Chairman of the Confederation of National Workers’ Unions (KSPN) for the 2026–2031 term.
In recent months, Ristadi has actively raised a number of labor issues, including outsourcing, wage policies and stronger labor oversight. In September, he also conveyed KSPN’s proposals regarding a national sectoral minimum wage and the establishment of a National Labor Supervision Agency to the Minister of Manpower.
With Ristadi’s appointment, KAI’s Board of Commissioners now consists of eight members. The position of President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner remains held by Said Aqil Siroj.
