JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto’s administration and the Red and White Cabinet recorded a number of strategic developments throughout the week of July 6–12, 2026. The policies announced covered investment cooperation, infrastructure development, energy security, law enforcement, and the strengthening of the village economy through the Red and White Cooperatives.
The following is a summary of the week’s developments.
Indonesia–Singapore Cooperation Worth Hundreds of Trillions of Rupiah
On Monday (July 6), Indonesia and Singapore agreed on 26 strategic cooperation agreements across various sectors.
One of the main agreements is the development of renewable energy-based electricity exports with a capacity of up to 3.4 gigawatts (GW). The government stated that the project is projected to attract investment of approximately Rp855 trillion.
In addition, the government estimates that the cooperation has the potential to generate around Rp97 trillion in foreign exchange earnings annually and approximately Rp9.7 trillion in state revenue each year, provided that all projects proceed as planned.
Indonesia and India Agree on 16 Strategic Cooperation Agreements
The following day, Tuesday (July 7), Indonesia and India agreed on 16 strategic cooperation agreements.
One of the most notable is the planned development of the Biak Space Port in Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, which is targeted to begin development in 2027.
The government believes the project has the potential to enable Indonesia to enter the space economy industry, strengthen space-based defense capabilities, and support the development of sustainable space technology.
Restoration of Prambanan Temple Begins
On Wednesday (July 8), the Indonesian Government and the Government of India began the restoration program for Prambanan Temple.
The preservation project for one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites is targeted for completion in 2029 as part of cooperation in the fields of culture and heritage conservation.
B50 Biodiesel Program Launched
On Thursday (July 9), President Prabowo launched the implementation of the B50 Biodiesel Program.
Through this program, the government aims to reduce dependence on imported diesel fuel by increasing the use of domestically produced palm oil-based fuel.
On the same day, the National Police’s Corruption Crime Task Force (Kortas Tipikor Polri) also disclosed allegations of assets deemed disproportionate to the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, found at his residence. The disclosure is part of the investigation and legal process being carried out by law enforcement authorities.
President Inaugurates Five Dams
On Friday (July 10), President Prabowo inaugurated five dams located in various regions.
The five dams are Meninting Dam in West Nusa Tenggara, Keureuto Dam and Rukoh Dam in Aceh, Jlantah Dam in Central Java, and Sidan Dam in Bali.
The government stated that the five dams are projected to provide irrigation for approximately 39,000 hectares of agricultural land to strengthen national food security.
On the same occasion, the President also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to law enforcement.
According to the President, the government will not back down in combating corruption and will ensure that law enforcement is carried out fairly, regardless of a person’s position or power.
Former Jampidsus Named a Suspect
On Saturday (July 11), former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah was named a suspect in an alleged corruption case and money laundering (TPPU) case.
The designation was announced by law enforcement authorities as part of the ongoing investigation. The legal process remains ongoing in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Thousands of Red and White Cooperative Outlets Built
Commemorating National Cooperative Day on Sunday (July 12), the government reported the progress of the Red and White Village/Subdistrict Cooperative Program.
A total of 15,845 outlets have been completed. In addition, 19,539 outlets are currently under construction, while 1,061 outlets are already operational and serving the public.
The program is one of the government’s efforts to strengthen the village economy through cooperatives as centers for distribution, trade, financing, and public services at the village and subdistrict levels.
All of these developments are part of the series of policies implemented by President Prabowo Subianto’s administration during the second week of July 2026, covering investment strengthening, infrastructure development, energy security, cultural preservation, law enforcement, and the empowerment of the people’s economy through cooperatives.
