JAKARTA – Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has officially appointed Inspector General for Supervision (Jamwas) Rudi Margono as the Acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Plt. Jampidsus) on Saturday (July 11).
The appointment was made after the Attorney General accepted the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah from the position of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes. Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General’s Office, Anang Supriatna, said that Rudi will serve as Acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes until a permanent officeholder is appointed.
Anang emphasized that the leadership change at the Office of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes will not affect the ongoing law enforcement process. All handling of cases in the field of special crimes is ensured to continue professionally, independently, and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, the decision to accept Febrie’s resignation is part of its commitment to maintaining the integrity, objectivity, and neutrality of law enforcement amid the legal process currently being carried out by National Police investigators. Therefore, the organization within the Office of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes must continue to operate normally through the appointment of an acting official.
