OJK Appoints Two Senior Officials to Strengthen Implementation of Financial Sector Reform Law

JAKARTA – Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) has appointed two senior officials as part of its efforts to strengthen the organization and accelerate the implementation of the Financial Sector Development and Strengthening Law (UU P2SK). The appointments were made during a swearing-in ceremony led by OJK Vice Chairman Hernawan Bekti Sasongko in Jakarta.
Hernawan said the leadership changes are aimed at ensuring organizational continuity, refreshing the institution’s structure, and developing leadership talent as OJK adapts to the rapidly evolving financial sector.
He emphasized that OJK must remain responsive to stakeholders’ expectations while being agile in addressing changes in the economy and financial services industry, particularly in implementing the reforms mandated under the UU P2SK.
The newly appointed officials are Rizal Ramadhani, who will serve as Deputy Commissioner for Legal Affairs and Investigation, and Ahmad Rifqi, who has been appointed Head of the Department for Management and Development of Regional OJK Offices.
According to Hernawan, leadership succession is essential to maintaining institutional effectiveness and ensuring OJK can continue carrying out its regulatory, supervisory, and consumer protection responsibilities. He also urged the newly appointed officials to uphold integrity, professionalism, and accountability in performing their duties.
Through the organizational strengthening, OJK reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing its institutional capacity, safeguarding financial system stability, protecting consumers, and supporting sustainable, inclusive, and competitive economic growth in Indonesia.
