OJK Nominates Alex Widi Kristiono for Indonesia Stock Exchange Commissioner Post

JAKARTA – Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) has officially nominated Alex Widi Kristiono as a candidate for the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), filling the remaining vacant commissioner seat for the 2024–2028 term. The nomination was formalized through OJK Letter No. SR-13/D.04/2026 dated August 4, 2026.

Alex Widi Kristiono is a seasoned capital market professional with more than 30 years of experience in Indonesia’s financial services industry. He currently serves as Director of Risk Management & Operations at Mandiri Sekuritas and is also acting as the company’s President Director.

According to the IDX, the nomination is intended to complete the composition of its Board of Commissioners, which has had one vacant position. Although OJK has endorsed Alex as the nominee, his appointment will only become effective after receiving approval from shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

The IDX is scheduled to hold the EGMS on August 12, 2026, to seek shareholder approval for the proposed appointment. If approved, Alex Widi Kristiono will serve the remainder of the Board of Commissioners’ 2024–2028 term.
