JAKARTA — Dimas Haryo Dito has taken on a new role as Director of Strategy and Business Development at PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas).
Dimas is not a new figure in Pertamina’s gas business. He has built a long career within PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), a company that is part of Pertamina’s Gas Subholding.
In PGN’s 2024 Annual Report, Dimas Haryo Dito was listed as Group Head of Business Development. The position was under the Director of Strategy and Business Development.
Dimas’s experience in business development also dates back several years. PGN’s 2020 Annual Report listed him as Group Head of Business Development, reflecting his longstanding involvement in business development functions within the national gas company.
In PGN’s 2021 Annual Report, Dimas was again listed as Group Head of Business Development. His name was also included in the same position in PGN’s 2022 Sustainability Report.
This experience has given Dimas a strong background in gas business development, including identifying new business opportunities and formulating business strategies in the energy sector.
In 2025, Dimas was also identified as PGN’s Group Head of Business Development at several energy industry forums. One of them involved discussions on the development of the Trans-ASEAN Gas Pipeline (TAGP), a regional initiative related to the expansion of gas infrastructure networks across Southeast Asia.
At the forum, Dimas discussed developments in LNG terminal networks across ASEAN. The discussion included potential additional LNG regasification capacity in ASEAN countries, which collectively could reach 37 million tonnes per year.
The position of Director of Strategy and Business Development plays a strategic role in determining the company’s growth direction, including identifying new business opportunities, developing partnerships, expanding the business portfolio, and strengthening Pertamina Gas’s position across the national gas value chain.
Pertamina Gas operates in gas and oil transportation, gas processing and distribution, natural gas trading, and other related business activities.
However, as of the publication of this report, there has been no official confirmation or statement from the relevant parties. Information regarding Dimas Haryo Dito’s appointment as Director of Strategy and Business Development at PT Pertamina Gas has also not yet appeared in publicly available official Pertamina Gas documents or PGN corporate reports.
