IHSG Falls 1.11%, Three State-Owned Bank Stocks Decline

JAKARTA — The Indonesia Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG) fell 1.11% in the first trading session on Tuesday (September 22, 2026), closing at 6,313.56.
At the start of trading, the IHSG reached a high of 6,423.83. However, the index subsequently reversed course and declined through the end of the first session.
According to RTI Business data cited by detikFinance, trading volume reached 20.63 billion shares, with a total transaction value of Rp7.98 trillion. The number of transactions reached 1,358,244.
Of the stocks traded, 513 declined, while 147 gained and 128 remained unchanged.
The LQ45 Index also fell 0.73% during the first trading session.
State-Owned Bank Stocks Also Decline
Pressure in the market was also reflected in several state-owned bank stocks.
Shares of Bank Mandiri (BMRI) fell 0.24% to Rp4,190 per share.
Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI) declined 1.38% to Rp3,570 per share.
The larger decline was recorded by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI), which fell 1.82% to Rp3,240 per share.
The data shows that all three state-owned bank stocks cited in the first trading session moved into negative territory.
