The leadership change was announced through TPS’s official Instagram account (@ptps_official). In the announcement, TPS welcomed Andi Mawarta as its new Technical Director while expressing appreciation to Topo Sapto Nugroho for his dedication and contributions during his tenure at the company.
“Welcome Aboard, Mr. Andi Mawarta. We wish you success in carrying out your mandate as Technical Director of PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS),” TPS said in its announcement.
TPS expects Andi to continue strengthening its facilities, improving equipment reliability, and driving operational transformation to deliver more productive, reliable and sustainable services.
Moving from Pelindo’s Procurement Division
Andi Mawarta’s appointment at TPS marks a move from his previous position at Pelindo’s corporate level.
According to several official Pelindo documents, Andi Mawarta previously served as Group Head of Procurement at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), or Pelindo. In 2025, his name appeared in several procurement processes within the Pelindo Group.
His position was also recorded within Pelindo’s organizational structure in 2026. In August 2026, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Central Java identified Andi as Group Head of Procurement at Pelindo’s Head Office during a Pelindo-BPKP cooperation event.
With this background, Andi now takes on a technical and operational leadership role at one of the key container terminals within the Pelindo network.

TPS expressed its appreciation to Topo Sapto Nugroho for his dedication and contribution to strengthening TPS as a world-class container terminal.
