List of Figures Appointed by Prabowo as Presidential Advisory Council Members

JAKARTA — President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated a number of members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday (October 2, 2026).

The appointments were based on Presidential Decree No. 107/P of 2026 concerning the Appointment of Members of the Presidential Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia.

Under the new structure, Pratikno was appointed Chairperson of the Presidential Advisory Council, serving concurrently as a member. Hatta Rajasa was appointed Deputy Chairperson, also serving concurrently as a member, while Muhammad Qodari was appointed Secretary of the Presidential Advisory Council, also serving as a member.

The newly appointed members come from a wide range of backgrounds, including politics, government, the military, business, academia, and religious organizations.

One of the names drawing attention is Rocky Gerung. Other prominent figures from the business sector include Jusuf Hamka, Chairul Tanjung, and Dato’ Sri Tahir.

Several senior figures have also joined the council, including Budi Gunawan, Agum Gumelar, and Ignasius Jonan.

During the inauguration ceremony, the newly appointed members took their oath of office, which was administered directly by President Prabowo.

The members pledged allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and committed to carrying out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them in their roles as members of the Presidential Advisory Council.
