JAKARTA – If Indonesia’s legislative election for the House of Representatives (DPR RI) were held today, the Gerindra Party would emerge as the leading political party, according to the latest national survey conducted by Indikator Politik Indonesia from July 14–24, 2026.

Gerindra secured 18.8% of voter support, maintaining a clear lead over the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), which received 14.2%, followed by Golkar with 10.8%. The Democratic Party ranked fourth with 9.1%, while the National Awakening Party (PKB) garnered 8.6%.

Among the remaining parties, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) recorded 5.2%, NasDem 3.3%, and the National Mandate Party (PAN) 3.0%. The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) received 2.3%, while the United Development Party (PPP) stood at 2.0%. All other parties registered support below one percent.

The survey also highlights a significant number of undecided voters. A total of 19.6% of respondents said they either did not know which party they would support or declined to answer. This suggests that Indonesia’s political landscape remains highly competitive, with substantial room for shifts in party support ahead of the next general election.

The Indikator Politik Indonesia survey was conducted between July 14 and July 24, 2026, involving 4,250 respondents selected through a multistage random sampling method. The survey carries a margin of error of ±1.6 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, providing a reliable snapshot of public political preferences during the survey period.
